Operational Update: Deep Link Issues – Not Bugs (Tech Advised)
We've had a few reports recently around deep links, but Tech has confirmed that these are not bugs – they’re expected behaviours based on how the system is set up.
Here are the most common issues that have come through:
🔁 Deep Link Has Expired
Deep links expire after 1 hour of inactivity. If it’s been idle too long, it will no longer work.
🌍 Wrong Region Selected
Deep links are region-specific. They’ll only work if the booking is made in the same region where the link was generated.
🖱️ Booking Must Be in the Same Tab
The booking must be completed in the same browser tab where the deep link was opened. If you open a new tab, the required parameters won’t carry over, and the link won’t work.
✅ What You Can Do:
Please make sure to check these points before raising to escalations to log a bug report. These aren’t bugs but known behaviours.
