Operational Update: Gift Cards Payments for Deposit Booking Due Balances

Just a quick clarification regarding gift card usage for deposit bookings:
As per existing policy, gift cards cannot be used to pay off the due balance of a deposit booking. This has always been the case. Previously, customers could redeem gift cards to credit and apply that credit to their due balance — however, this workaround is no longer available.

Important for Agents:

• The Payments Team is currently reviewing options to allow customers to use gift cards toward due balances in the future, but this may take some time.
• In the meantime, if a customer wishes to use a gift card to pay a due balance, please escalate for approval via the usual process in Zendesk.
