Operational Update: UI Update to Per Night Custom Refund
G'day team,
The below info is now readily available in the Refunds - Per Night Knowledge Article
With a massive thanks to @Kristina Hua, @Eugene Moskvita, @Felix Ivanov, and @Rob Rossi, we’re releasing an update to improve user experience when processing custom refunds (select nights).
What’s new?
You’ll now see a breakdown showing how surcharges are split across each night:
- Extra guests
- Revenue management
- Peak period rates
This added visibility should help you better understand which nights are contributing to the overall surcharge, making it easier to process per night refunds - You no longer need to process surcharge refunds separately.
🔁 Reminder:
For any custom refund amounts, ie refunding just the EGS or refunding just the base nightly rate, continue to process them via the custom amount flow. You can use the per night refund UI for easy to access information.
💡 Coming soon:
Later this week, we’ll release another update allowing agents to select which surcharge type they’d like to refund. I’ll post again once that’s live.
