CS Update: Password Policy Update
As part of our continued efforts to strengthen security and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI requirements, we are updating our password policy for all Luxury Escapes (LE) email accounts.
New Password Requirements
Your new password must meet the following criteria:
- Mandatory: At least 12 characters in length
- Mandatory: Must include at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character
Please read through the sections below and, based on your device type and location, follow the steps to change your password.
If you have any questions or are unsure which steps apply to you, please contact the IT team face-to-face, via Teams, Slack, or by email at help@luxgroup.com.
1. Mac / Ubuntu / Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD)
You will need to manually update your password via the Office 365 web portal.
Steps:
- Visit: https://portal.office.com
- Sign in with your LE email account
- Click your profile picture (top right) and select View Account
- Go to the Security info or Password section
- Follow the prompts to change your password
2. Company-Issued Windows Devices – Australia Office (MEL / SYD)
If you’re using a company-issued Windows device in the Australia offices (MEL/SYD), please ensure you are physically in the office when changing your password.
Steps:
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard
- Click Change a password
- Enter your current password, then your new password (meeting the above criteria)
- Confirm and click Submit
Your password change will sync automatically with your LE email and other systems.
3. Company-Issued Windows Devices – Overseas or Fully Remote
If you’re using a company-issued Windows device outside Australia or are fully remote, please contact the IT team directly for assistance.
Deadline: All LE email account passwords must be updated by Friday, 29 August 2025.
