Friendly Reminder: Reminder of Leave Provisions Policy
This is a reminder that, under our Leave Provisions Policy, a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner is mandatory in the following circumstances:
- Two consecutive days of sick or carer’s leave.
- Any absence adjacent to a RDO, public holiday or weekend.
- Additional absences after taking 5 days of sick or carer’s leave in a rolling 12-month period.
- Evidence may also be requested at any time at the Manager’s discretion
Failure to provide the required evidence will result in the leave being recorded in the ESS system as Leave Without Pay, and payment for that leave will not be made.
Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Line Manager or a member of the P&C team.
