CS Update: Digital Arrival Card for Passengers arriving in India
Please see the below information regarding travel to India. More of an FYI and good to know - of course, we dont provide visa advice.
Effective 1st October 2025, India has introduced an online Digital Arrival Card for all foreign nationals arriving in the country. This initiative aims to streamline the immigration process and minimize delays at immigration counters.
Foreign travelers now have the option to complete the Disembarkation Card in one of the following ways:
- Physically upon arrival in India
- Digitally, up to 72 hours prior to arrival, via the official Indian visa website: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/
- Through the “Indian Visa Su-Swagatam” mobile app
Please note that the physical disembarkation card will continue to be accepted until the digital system is fully stabilized, or for a maximum of six months—whichever comes first.
Kindly also note that a valid Indian visa is still required in advance, as per the existing process.
