Operational Update: Booking Authority Now Live in Admin Portal
Little update for you regarding booking authority. A Request Access feature has now been added to the order page in Admin Portal.
❓What is Request Access?
The Request Access feature allows agents to help callers enquiring about a booking on someone else’s account - without emailing the account holder manually, requesting verbal authority, or directing the caller through booking authority prompts.
This ensures privacy is maintained while streamlining the process.
📚Step-by-Step Flow
➡️ STEP 1: Open the booking in Admin Portal
➡️ STEP 2: Select “Request Access” in the top right corner
➡️ STEP 3: Enter Requester Details
- Email address
- Mobile number
➡️ STEP 4: Send Access Request
Submit the request. An approval email is automatically sent to the booking owner.
➡️ STEP 5: Booking Owner Approval
The booking owner receives an email and can approve or decline the request.
➡️ STEP 6: Access Granted
Once approved, the requester is added to the booking as either:
- Viewer, or
- Editor, depending on the access granted.
